CÁCH VIẾT DẠNG ADVANTAGE & DISADVANTAGE IELTS WRITING TASK 2

• Bên cạnh Hướng dẫn đề thi IELTS 21/11/2020 bài WRITING TASK 2 về Relocating Business to Regional Areas (kèm bài sửa của học sinh đi thi), hôm nay qua bài viết này IELTS TUTOR hướng dẫn về dạng bài advantage và disadvantage trong IELTS writing task 2. 
• Trong bài này IELTS TUTOR sẽ hướng dẫn các bạn cách phân loại và cách viết đối với từng loại bài. 

IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:

• Đề bài đưa ra 1 vấn đề và cần phân tích vấn đề đó theo cả 2 mặt tốt và xấu, ưu điểm và nhược điểm.

IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:

• Điểm quan trọng nhất là cần xác định ĐỀ BÀI CHỈ NÓI NÊU ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES hay có nói nêu ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES rồi bày tỏ thêm quan điểm của các bạn vào.

• Cách làm 2 dạng cần bày tỏ quan điểm và không bày tỏ quan điểm là hoàn toàn khác nhau

Nếu chỉ nêu Advantages & Disadvantages không thôi câu hỏi sẽ là:

•   Discuss the advantages and disadvantages

IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:

• Ở đây người ta không hỏi quan điểm của bản thân, nên chỉ nêu Advantages 1 thân bài, Disadvantages 1 thân bài chứ không có thêm vào quan điểm bản thân

• ​một body thân bài các bạn viết advantages
• một body viết disadvantages mà không cần nêu lên quan điểm của mình!

• Như IELTS TUTOR đã hướng dẫn ở trên, trong dạng này, không được sử dụng các từ nêu lên quan điểm cá nhân của mình, cũng không được khẳng định vấn đề là tốt hay xấu bởi vì đề không yêu cầu
• Cách làm bài này là chia bố cục thân bài thành 2 đoạn:
  • Đoạn 1: nêu về advantages 
  • Đoạn 2: nêu về disadvantages

Nếu là dạng Disadvantages & Advantages có nêu opinion, thông thường câu hỏi sẽ là:

•  Do the advantage of the outweigh the disadvantage?
• Discuss the advantages and disadvantages and give your own opinion.

• Trong dạng bài advantages & disadvantages có bày tỏ quan điểm, ở phần cuối intro, cuối thân bài và kết luận phải nhắc tới là bản thân mình theo quan điểm nào advantages hay disadvantages

Dạng 1: Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages? or Do the benefits outweigh the drawbacks?

1.2. Thesis statement

• It is also believed that ...... has its/ their own advantages and disadvantages

2.1. Paragraph 1: Viết về mặt tốt của vấn đề

• Câu topic sentence 1: 
  • It can be said that ..... has some noteworthy positive effects.
• Nói về ưu điểm 1: 
  • The main/most important advantage/benefit of .... is that ....
• Nói về ưu điểm 2: 
  • One/Another/An additional advantage of .... would be .... 

2.2. Paragraph 2: Viết về mặt xấu của vấn đề

• Câu topic sentence 2: 
  • Despite these aforementioned benefits, several drawbacks do exist. OR However, .... is not completely benefit, there are several negative aspects that should be taken into consideration.
• Nói về khuyết điểm 1: 
  • The main/most/serious disadvantage of ... is ...
• Nói về khuyết điểm 2: 
  • One/An additional disadvantage of .... would be ....

• 2 đoạn thân bài có độ dài bằng nhau, để tạo sự công bằng cho vấn đề.

• Vì đề không hỏi quan điểm nên kết bài cũng không nêu quan điểm nhé
