II. Cách dùng
1. Mang nghĩa"điều tốt, điều phải, điều thiện"
=behaviour that is considered good or moral
IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:
- Với nghĩa này, right là danh từ không đếm được
- right and wrong (=good and bad)
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- I think we’ve got right on our side (=we are morally right).
- to make no difference between right and wrong (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: không phân biệt phải trái thiện ác)
- to be in the right (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: lẽ phải về mình, có chính nghĩa)
- Do children of that age really know the difference between right and wrong?
2. Mang nghĩa"quyền lợi"
=something that you are morally or legally allowed to do or have
IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:
- Với nghĩa này, right vừa là danh từ đếm được vừa không đếm được
- equal rights (for someone) (=the same rights for everyone)
- right to

4. Mang nghĩa"phe hữu, phái hữu, cánh hữu (chính trị)"
=the political party or the group of people within a society who are conservative in their political views

- Có thể theo sau vừa động từ số ít vừa động từ số nhiều (can be followed by a singular or plural verb)

5. Mang nghĩa"quyền xuất bản sách..."
=the legal authority to publish a book, play, film, piece of music etc or to use it for a performance or production
