A sea is a place full of wonder and mystery, where the hands of man have barely breeched her depths. It is the place that its waves either gently sway you towards shore or violently lash you out with the tide, where you become completely vulnerable. When my bare feet have edged into any form of water, these thoughts always seem to cross my mind. I will introduce to all of you the many types of sea life that inhabit the ocean.

The Great Barrier Reef teeming with sea creatures of every shape and size is truly the metropolis of the sea. Thousands of fish swim briskly along the reef. Fish are like people of the sea. All fish this one has gills that allow him to take oxygen from the water. Water is the air of the sea. Nearby a great sunken ship has descended to the ocean floor shipwrecks the car crashes of the sea. A blackfish starts in and out of shipwreck using his fins. Fins are the leg of the sea.

Nearby a seahorse looks for food. Jellyfish is the chandelier of the sea. Up above us, the fish stare longingly at the surface unable to rise above it. The surface- the sky of the sea. Quails are the fat people of the sea. A stingray glides effortlessly along the ocean floor. Stingrays are the hovercraft of the sea. A great white shark is the mayor of the sea. And finally, we come to the shore beyond a vast and alien wilderness that fish are unable to explore.

Seas play a very important role in our lives. They are not only the best source of transportation but also a significant source of food, medicines, and economical growth. They are the main component which balances the biosphere and ecosystem of the earth. Without seas, life might cease to exist affecting the survival of the human race. Hence it is our prime responsibility to protect our seas and keep it clean. Always remember that whatever we give to our Mother Nature will get credited back to us in the future.
