II. Cách dùng dress up
1. Mang nghĩa"ăn mặc chải chuốt; ăn mặc chỉnh tề, chải chuốt"
=If you dress up or dress yourself up, you put on different clothes, in order to make yourself look smarter than usual or to disguise yourself.

- You do not need to dress up for dinner.
- Students don't need to dress up to go to school. (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: Sinh viên không cần ăn mặc chải chuốt chỉ để tới trường đâu)

- I just love the fun of dressing up in another era's clothing.
- Little girls dress up as angels for fiestas.
2. Mang nghĩa"ăn mặc đẹp cho ai đó, mặc đồ đẹp cho ai"
=If you dress someone up, you give them special clothes to wear, in order to make them look smarter or to disguise them.
